Featuring the luxurious Dark Belgian Chocolate Dulce de Leche by Myanbah, this recipe crafts two exquisite cakes with a dense, velvety texture. A harmonious blend of eggs, flour, rich dulce de leche, and butter, these cakes are crowned with a lavish drizzle of dulce de leche and adorned with fresh strawberries. This recipe makes 2 small cakes

INGREDIENTS

1 egg
-
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
-
3/4 Jar of dulce de leche dark Belgian chocolate

30 Gms of unsalted butter
-
1/4 Jar of dulce de leche dark Belgian chocolate

Fresh strawberries or your choice of berries

Some melted butter to coat ramekins or small baking dish

Some loose all-purpose flour to dust on ramekins or small baking dish
Method

In a small mixing bowl add crack one egg and whisk is thoroughly until it’s smooth,

then slowly whisk in flour and form a smooth mix

In another medium size bowl add melted butter (30gms) and add 3/4 jar of dulce de leche dark Belgian chocolate

Add flour and egg mix with chocolate mixture and form a smooth batter by whisking

Coat 2 small round baking dish or round ramekins with butter, and then dust dry flour so cake doesn’t stick to the sides or bottom of dish

Add half mix in each dish, mixture should be 3/4 lower than the top of the dish, Cake will expand a little but not much. This recipe prepares a dense and rich cake

Bake the mix in the fan forced oven at 200 degrees for about 10 mins

After 10 mins remove from oven and let it cool down at the room temperature or eat it at warm temperature. before serving by using a clean knife separate the cake from the wall of dish let it set for at least 15 minutes

Use a spoonful of dulce de leche dark Belgian chocolate and cover the top of cake well, serve with fresh berries and / or your favorite ice cream. Enjoy!
