Fig and Honey Cauliflower served with humus and bread!

It’s a complete meal when served with your choice of bread and some side dips such as hummus. If you’re a fan of cauliflower this recipe is for you.

This recipe serves 2 people

 INGREDIENTS

  • 10 Tbsp of @myanbahfarm Fig and Honey Caramelised Balsamic

  • 1 tsp of sweet paprika

  • 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper

  • 2 Cauliflower steak (please see image) or use Cauliflower florets (half a cauliflower)

  • 4 Tbsp vegetable oil for cooking

  • 1 red chili diced (seeds removed)

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds (white and black) optional

  • Handful of fresh coriander leaves for garnish

  • 2 Tbsp of @myanbahfarm Garlic& Sea Salt infused olive oil

  • Hummus dip on side (as much as you like)

  • 2 Peta or Lebanese flat bread to serve

 

Method

  1. In a bowl mix sweet paprika, cayenne pepper and balsamic, mix together well.

  2. Using a brush and plate, apply above mix to cauliflower steak (or mix in well with cauliflower florets)

  3. In a frying pan, heat oil on medium, after a minute cook cauliflower steak for about 2 minutes on each side.

  4. Once cooked from both sides, remove from heat in a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped chili, coriander leaves.

  5. Serve with hummus topped with sea salt olive oil and flat bread of your choice.

  6. Enjoy!
