Strawberry Freakshake

A freakshake is an over-the-top milkshake. Think - drink and dessert in one! 

Indulge your taste buds and give your kids a fun treat with our Strawberry Freakshake! This recipe combines the sweetness of strawberries, the creaminess of ice cream and milk, and the texture of desiccated coconut in one heavenly drink.

Made with Myanbah Farm Strawberry, Rhubarb and Vanilla Bean Jam this freakshake recipe is easy to make and perfect for a quick snack or dessert. Plus, you can customize it to your liking by adding whipped cream and your favorite lollies and chocolates. To make it extra special, decorate the glass with jam, desiccated coconut, an Oreo cookie, and any other treats you desire. You can use donuts, waffles, or fudge - the possibilities are endless!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1x tablespoon Myanbah Farm Strawberry, Rhubarb and Vanilla Bean Jam

  • 2x scoops of vanilla ice cream

  • 200ml full cream milk

  • 4x frozen strawberries

  • 1x teaspoon desiccated coconut

  • Optional: whipped cream

Decoration

  • 1x heaped teaspoon of Myanbah Farm Strawberry, Rhubarb and Vanilla Bean Jam 
  • 1x tablespoon desiccated coconut
  • 1x Oreo cookie
  • Lollies and chocolates of choice

 

 Method

  1. Combine ingredients ( jam, ice cream, milk, strawberries and desiccated coconut in a blender. Blend until smooth. You can use less milk if you prefer a thicker consistency.

  2. To decorate the glass, spread the jam around the rim of the glass, approximately 2 cm down the side of the glass.

  3. Sprinkle with desiccated coconut.

  4. Stick the cookie, lollies and chocolate of your choice to the rim. You can use extra jam if needed.

  5. You can use any treats you have on hand- donuts, waffles, fudge - the options are endless.

  6. Serve on a plate for easy clean up and top with whipped cream.
