Ingredients
1.2kg raw chicken wings, tip removed*
1x bottle Myanbah Farm Toasted Sesame, Soy and Ginger dressing
2x tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon bbq sauce or Finns Chunky BBQ Sauce
*can be purchased pre cut as “wing nibbles/ wingettes)
Method
Pat the wings with paper towel to remove excess moisture. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the Myanbah Farm Toasted Sesame, Soy and Ginger dressing, honey and bbq sauce until thoroughly combined. The bbq sauce will help to thicken the marinade without altering the flavour and the honey will help to create the sticky glaze on the wings.
Toss the wings in the mixture. Set it aside in the fridge to marinate for at least one hour. We recommend 4 hours for optimum flavour.
Remove wings from the marinade and place in the air fryer. Spoon extra marinade on wings before cooking. It’s important to dispose of excess marinade at this point to prevent cross-contamination of raw and cooked chicken.
Air Fry at 160•C and for 20 minutes. Flip halfway through. The perfect accompaniment to any casual gathering!
Serves 3-4 grazing portions.
Recipe Variation
For those who like it HOT, shallow fry some sliced red chillies and spring onions in 1 tablespoon of oil and spoon the mixture on top.
Serves 3-4 as an entree/grazing portion
